1. The Pitons

The Pitons are two volcanic spires that rise straight out of the sea and are located on the western tip of Saint Lucia. They're a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are one of the most beautiful landscapes in all of the Caribbean. The Pitons can be seen from almost anywhere on the island, so if you're planning a trip to Saint Lucia, this should be at least one stop on your itinerary.

The twin mountainous peaks provide stunning views as you hike up their peaks. The highest peak is Gros Piton at 2,619ft. Petit Piton is 2,461ft high. You can hike to the top of Gros Piton or Petit Piton for a panoramic view of Saint Lucia.

Gros Piton is a popular hike with marked trails that are easy to follow. However, the climb to Petit Piton is difficult and steep, with an unmarked trail. Tour companies generally do not offer this hike as part of their itineraries. You can book a helicopter tour to get a bird's-eye view of the majestic twin peaks. You should check if there are any dangerous weather conditions before making your way up there!

2. Castries

With its scenic beaches, tropical rainforests, and spectacular waterfalls, it's no surprise that Castries is one of the most popular destinations for tourists visiting Saint Lucia. In addition to shopping in this charming city's central market, you can also explore some great historical sites such as Fort Charlotte or spice up your trip by exploring some local culture at La Place de la Victoire.

If you want a more relaxing experience, head to one of Saint Lucia's beaches (La Toc Beach, Vigie Beach, and Choc Beach). With so much to see and do, you'll want to ensure you're staying in a hotel that offers top-notch amenities and an ideal location near some of Saint Lucia's top attractions.

If you enjoy fresh produce and local food, then Castries Market is the place to go. Many vendors sell fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and fish, and other goods such as clothing and homemade products. You will find everything you need at this market—including traditional handicrafts.

3. Rodney Bay

Rodney Bay is located at the island's northwest end and is considered one of St. Lucia's most popular tourist destinations. The bay was named after Admiral George Rodney, who defeated a French fleet.

Rodney Bay is a popular spot for snorkeling and water sports. The bay is known for its calm waters and pristine white sand beaches, making it a great place to relax and soak up the sun. This is where you'll find some of the island's most popular resorts (Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa), hotels, and restaurants with a variety of dining options, as well as a bustling nightlife when the sun goes down.

4. Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens

If you're looking for an adventure that's both relaxing and exhilarating, the Botanical Garden is just the place! Just under 80, super luxe rooms are available, each with its private plunge pool, butler service, and a minimalist design that doesn't detract from the beauty outside. Larger villas and cottages are perfect for families.

On-site amenities include a large swimming pool, a second beach for adults, and a luxury spa in a tree house. Several dining options are available, including a beachfront restaurant that serves pizza and sushi and a more formal French-Caribbean restaurant.
