1. The Pitons
The Pitons are two volcanic spires that rise straight out of the sea and are located on the western tip of Saint Lucia. The twin mountainous peaks provide stunning views as you hike up their peaks. The highest peak is Gros Piton at 2,619ft. Petit Piton is 2,461ft high. You can hike to the top of Gros Piton or Petit Piton for a panoramic view of Saint Lucia.
Gros Piton is a popular hike with marked trails that are easy to follow. However, the climb to Petit Piton is difficult and steep, with an unmarked trail. Tour companies generally do not offer this hike as part of their itineraries. You can book a helicopter tour to get a bird's-eye view of the majestic twin peaks. You should check if there are any dangerous weather conditions before making your way up there!
